Bully Ray and Aces & 8’s – What it means for the future of TNA

Just when you thought it was safe to trawl through the columns section, your favourite angry Scotsman makes his return to Tie-Up Wrestling! It’s been a while since I’ve posted on the site. Mark and Emma know why, but a few of you have been wondering, so I suppose I’d better explain things before I get on with today’s topic.

Mr Hogan? Come in Mr Hogan… Your time is up

Welcome along to my first post here on Tie-Up in God knows how long. I’ll not lie. I’ve been hell of a busy and I’ve barely had enough time to write elsewhere. I’ve still been here though.

Hopefully you’ll have heard the first-ever episode of Tie-Up Transmissions that Mark and Emma posted the other week. Basically, Mark and I sit down and shoot the shit about TNA. Sometimes there’s swearing, there’s nearly always sarcasm, and we talk about the good, and bad, in TNA. I’ll post the episode again at the bottom of this post if, for some reason, you’ve missed it. There’ll be another episode on the site soon.

TNA in 2012: The Good, The Bad and the Downright Ugly!

Welcome along my last blog on Tie-Up before the Christmas period! Cheers to everyone who commented on my article about Jeff Hardy last week. It's nice to know I'm not the only one who isn't a fan of the Charismatic Liability! Moving on, I figured that this was the best time to do a review of TNA’s 2012 and you can guess from the title I’m gonna be talking about the good, the bad and the downright ugly. I’m not gonna spoil anything here, but TNA have had a far better year overall than WWE. In terms of match quality, storylines, flow of the show and outstanding PPV cards, TNA’s clearly had a fantastic year.

Why I Wouldn't Have Put The TNA World Title Back on Jeff Hardy

What’s up doc? Wait, think I channelled Bugs Bunny there! What I meant to say was, how’s it going folks? Thanks a lot for everyone who took the time to comment on my last TNA article. It’s great to get feedback and create talking points.

For those of you unfamiliar with my work, I try to put across my opinions on the wrestling business. I don’t pretend to be an expert. I’m just a fan with a way to put my point across. I should probably also say that sometimes, I like to be controversial. I’ve been known to stir up some sh*t in my time. A prime example was a rant on one of TNA’s Gutcheck contestants on a recent episode of SLTD Radio. Like it or not, opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one and I’m not someone who’ll hold back in case I offend someone. Mark knows what I’m talking about! Haha..

TNA Hall of Fame

I think that we all probably know by now that, after 10 fantastic years, TNA has decided to start its own Hall of Fame. We will find out who the first ever inductee is when it is announced at Slammiversary X.

When the news was announced, Dixie Carter said “This 10 year milestone is an incredible achievement for TNA, in honour of that we felt it was time to begin recognizing the contributions of those who have made the greatest impact on our success."

Hulk Hogan and Eric Bi****ff vs. Scott Steiner

The long running fight between Hogan, Bischoff and Steiner is about to become more serious as the General Manager of Impact Wrestling, took to Twitter this morning to talk about getting his personal lawyers involved in the situation.

This feud has been going on for quite some time now and if you look back through each of the men’s Twitter accounts at a glance it would appear that they are all as bad as each other. We of course don’t know how deep the rivalry goes and can only see what each of them wants us to see.
